Biorefineries and Locations

The eight Pacific Ethanol biorefineries have a combined operating capacity of 515 million gallons per year of fuel grade ethanol. The production facilities in the western region are strategically located in the feed and fuel markets they serve; the Midwestern biorefineries are located near feedstock sources and are directly linked to strong markets for ethanol and co-products.

Located in Pekin, Illinois the Pekin Yeast plant mill began operations in 1999 and produces distiller's yeast for animal, pet, and human food applications. The yeast from Pekin is AIB food grade and Kosher certified.
